Hello, my name is Stephen Taylor and I am a joiner, a music producer and a poet.
I love to travel and explore wild places, so at the end 0f 2021 I decided to pack all of my gear into a camper van and head up into the Scottish Highlands. The aim was simply to see as much of Scotland as possible and earn some money along the way using my joinery skills.
I quickly realised that this was something I want to do long term and so The Travelling Joiner was born.
Since then I have travelled all over Scotland and the Outer Hebrides visiting Barra, North and South Uist, The Isles of Harris and Lewis, Skye, Campbeltown, Oban, Dundee, Ullapool and Fort William along with many other places tucked away in the Highlands.
By offering my services as a freelance joiner throughout Scotland it gives me the chance to explore as many places as possible, which inspires me to make art and music.

I have a campervan so you do not need to provide accomodation if your project is in a remote place. I can stay on site if necessary while the work is being completed.
I am now taking bookings anywhere in Scotland, and I am also available for work throughout the U.K, Ireland & Europe.
